HealthScout is a mobile phone app phone adaptable for many types of medical research studies and surveys.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we wanted a mobile phone app to track the health and well-being of our current musculoskeletal research participants and also to monitor any new Covid-19 symptoms. Unfortunately there was a block on any new research spending so we couldn’t commission an app to be developed. 

Fortunately Mr Marko Voß, a developer from Germany volunteered to create a bespoke mobile app for free during the pandemic, and with support from Yopeso, the University of Nottingham Mobile App development team and a grant of Azure credits from Microsoft, HealthScout was created.
