Channel 4 program needs volunteers with pain

Would you like help with dealing with pain?

Would you like to be on TV?

Along with Pain Centre Versus Arthritis director Prof David Walsh, I am collaborating with the producers of a new Channel 4 health series that looks at the health topics we all want know about. From big public interest experiments and medical breakthroughs to investigating popular health claims, it aims to find out the best way to tackle the health problems that affect us all. The series will include an episode on pain management and we are looking for volunteers from across the UK to take part.

Love Productions, makers of programmes such as Great British Bake Off and Live Well for Longer, are looking for volunteers who suffer with common pains including headaches, arthritis, back pain, fibromyalgia or sciatica. The volunteers will then carry out around 8 weeks of simple lifestyle changes to see what can help manage their pain.

If you are interested visit https://pain.take-part.co.uk/ to apply or learn more.  Alternatively ring 0207 067 4820, or contact them on Twitter @LoveC4health . Applications close Monday 30th September 2019.
